Mirror stainless steel, “magic material” in space

Mirror stainless steel uses abrasive liquid for raw materials to polish the surface of the stainless steel plate through polishing equipment, so that the plate surface is flat and as clear as a mirror. It has a variety of appearances, metallic luster, corrosion resistance, no rust, and high toughness. Its surface can form a reflection, projecting the surrounding scenery through mirror images, reflecting the real content in the form of void.

Mirror stainless steel is the most well-known mirror material. Mirror refers to the surface state of stainless steel, which is mostly used in cold-rolled stainless steel plates with thin specifications.

Advantages of mirror stainless steel

1) Corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, not easy to rust, easy to make. With good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, mirror stainless steel plays an important role in many fields.

2) Wide range of applications

Mirror stainless steel is widely used. It is widely used in interior architectural decoration, exterior wall decoration, household appliance panels, electronic product shells, furniture and kitchens, signage, logos, bags, jewelry boxes and other fields.

3) Good decoration effect

The mirror stainless steel surface can form a reflection, projecting the surrounding scenery through the mirror image, reflecting the real content in the form of a void. In landscape design, you can expand the space, improve the highlights of the scene by adding mirror stainless steel design, and form a sense of technology and futuristic.

The brightness of mirror stainless steel

Common mirror stainless steel is divided into four grades: 6K, 8K, 10K and 12K. Generally, 8k mirror stainless steel has achieved the glossy effect of ordinary mirrors. 6K stainless steel only has a certain brightness on the surface, and it is not called mirror stainless steel.

The effect of 10K and 12K is the best. 12K mirror stainless steel has an ultra-clear surface, no grinding head and no scratches. It can be said to be a mirror stainless steel with zero defects. The grinding cost is high, so the price is also higher.

Stainless steel is used for the exterior leather of indoors and buildings. In addition to mirrors, other common surface treatment processes include hairline, sandblasting, titanium plating, etching, anti-fingerprints, etc.

The thickness of mirror stainless steel

The thickness of the stainless steel 8K/12k mirror plate can be from 0.3-100mm. The thicker the thickness, the more difficult it is to reflect the mirror effect. Of course, the higher the processing cost.

Because the mirror stainless steel is relatively light and thin, the reflection will be slightly deformed in plane application. It can be used on curved surfaces and has high stability and hardness, but it has higher wear resistance and is convenient for daily cleaning compared with other mirror materials.

Scope of application:

1) Applications in landscapes, such as sculpture sketches, structures, retaining walls, landscape installations

2) Applied to the architectural field, such as architectural curtain walls, roofs, etc.

3) Applications in indoor space, such as wall decoration, furniture, ceiling, handicrafts, etc.
